Overview
My wife and I are both US Navy veterans and are honored to meet the many Army families celebrating their lived ones! Our homes are located just 14 miles to Fort Moore, 10 mins to Downtown Columbus. Enjoy the peace & quiet of the countryside while being close to the city. Stay in a cozy tiny home that's well-equipped w/amenities, clean, and located in a rural area. Relax on the porch and in the hammock.

A clean, clutter-free, and welcoming home is awaiting your arrival. This 2018 Forest River Park Home is 399 sq ft, and has an abundance of natural light in the living room providing a sense of warmth and comfort. Blinds and curtains are provided for those looking to reduce the natural light.
This home is located in rural area, but only 10 minutes away for the city. Living in a rural area can offer many benefits that may not be available in urban or suburban settings. One of the most significant benefits of living in a rural area is the peace and quiet that comes with it. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, rural areas offer a slower pace of life and a more relaxed atmosphere. Additionally, we have a tight-knit community with a strong sense of safety with friendly neighbors.
Overall, a clean, clutter-free, welcoming home is a place where you can feel at peace, relax and recharge.
Safety and cleanliness
Your safety and the safety of our neighbors is important to us. Within the home a fire extinguisher is placed on the kitchen counter for ease of visibility and quick access. A smoker detector and carbon monoxide detector is also installed in the hallway. All mattress protectors, sheets, comforters are washed after each quest. All surfaces are sanitized with Lysol after each guest.
Outside a security light has been installed in the front yard, walk-way lights are along the driveway, the porch light is a dusk to dawn bulb ensuring the porch is always lit at night provided the switch is one, and just to the right of the kitchen sink is the switch for the rear flood light.
We do have children and pets in the neighborhood and ask that you drive with caution.
Livingroom
A living room with a sofa sleeper, TV, recliner, natural lighting, and an open floor plan to the kitchen is the epitome of convenience. As you walk into the room, you'll immediately notice everything is within reach, and you have the option of natural light pouring in through the windows and sliding glass door w/access to the deck, making the space cozy. The centerpiece of the room is the electric fireplace and TV, which is perfect for lounging.
You’ll also find a cozy recliner, complete with a soft throw blanket to cozy up while you relax. The 55” Smart TV is over the fireplace, positioned for optimal viewing from any seat in the room. Enjoy streaming shows on Amazon Prime or Dish Network. The open floor plan to the kitchen makes it easy to entertain and socialize with guests while preparing meals.
Hanging the in living room is a Pioneer mini-split AC/Heat unit. This unit, in addition to the central AC, enables you to control the temperature and provides the ultimate temp!.
Overall, this living room is a perfect blend of comfort and functionality, providing a welcoming space for relaxation and easy living.
Kitchen
A fully-equipped kitchen is an essential part of any home, and having all the necessary appliances and amenities can make cooking a breeze. Imagine walking into a kitchen that has all the major appliances, including a refrigerator, stove, oven, and convection microwave. The cabinetry provides ample storage space for kitchenware and utensils, making it easy to prepare meals and keep things organized.
In addition to the standard appliances, this kitchen also features a range of cooking amenities to help you create your favorite dishes. There is a convection microwave oven that can quickly heat up leftovers or bake a frozen lasagna, and a toaster for making toast and bagels. The kitchen also has a coffee maker to help you start your day off right.
The dining area will accommodate four people. This setup allows for a more casual and interactive dining experience.

Bedroom
The master bedroom is located on the main floor with a queen size bed with clean, simple bedding ready to welcome you for a good night's sleep. As you look around, you notice a washer and dryer tucked away in the built in cabinet, making laundry a breeze without having to leave your room. You also see a closet with space to hang your clothes, and drawers to store your belongings, keeping your room tidy and organized.
As you settle in, you notice a TV placed in the built-in cabinet, ready to entertain you with your favorite shows and movies via Amazon FireTV or Dish Anywhere. Overall, this cozy bedroom offers everything you need for a comfortable and functional sleeping space.
Loft
The two lofts located upstairs are a great area for kids or adults needing a place to sleep. The ceilings are low and adults would not be able to stand up, but the area provides a great space for sleeping. Both lofts have a Zinus mattresses on the floor. Both lofts provide storage space for folded clothes, luggage, and small personal items.
Bathroom
The bathroom is a clean and functional space, with everything you need to freshen up after a long day. The combo tub/shower area is well-equipped, with a range of toiletries to suit your needs. Shampoo and conditioner are provided, so you can wash and condition your hair with ease. Body wash is also available, perfect for a refreshing and invigorating shower.
In addition to the toiletries, there are also a number of hygiene products available. A blow dryer is also available, so you can dry your hair quickly and easily. Other items such as Q-Tips, cotton balls and make-up remover pads are provided for convenience.
Finally, there are first aid items available, just in case of any accidents or injuries. These include bandages, rubbing alcohol, peroxide, and other essentials, ensuring that you are always prepared for any eventuality. All in all, this bathroom is a well-equipped and practical space, designed to make your life easier and more comfortable.
Front deck
A beautiful 8x39 deck with a roof is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The deck is made of durable wood and has a smooth finish that is gentle to the feet. The roof provides ample shade, protecting the deck and its furnishings. If you are lucky and it rains, there is no better sound than rain on a metal roof while laying in the hammock! The deck is furnished with two comfortable chairs that are perfect for lounging, a sofa, and a hammock…perfect for enjoying the fresh air while reading a book or sipping a cool drink. A gas grill, gas and utensils are also provided to outdoor grilling.
Parking and EV Charger
The house comes with ample parking space for two or more vehicles, but there is plenty of space to park a boat trailer and additional vehicles in the driveway and grass. Whether you're bringing your family or a group of friends, you don't have to worry about finding a spot to park your cars.
But the best part about this vacation rental house is that it also comes with a level 1 EV charger. If you have an electric car, you can easily charge it while you're enjoying all that this house has to offer. You don't have to go out of your way to find a charging station or worry about your car running out of battery during your stay. If the level 1 charger is not sufficient charging stations are available at 800 Front Ave, Columbus, GA as well as Target in Columbus, GA.
Any app on Amazon that is free is available for viewing, or you can create your own profile and log into your streaming services.

• Pets are not allowed inside the home. A fee of $350 will be charged if animals are found to have been on the property. Pets, working or sport animals are allowed provides they are housed outside. Guest are required to clean up after their animals.
• Third party booking is not allowed. The person making the reservation must be on the premises for the duration of the reservation.
• Persons not listed as a guest in the reservation may be required to leave the property at the hosts discretion.
• Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes are not allowed indoors, and windows and doors should be closed when smoking outdoors. A fee of $150 will be charged if the smell of smoke or vapes is detected or damages are incurred due to smoke or vapes.
• Sewer is on a septic tank. Nothing other than toilet paper should be flushed down the toilet. A fee up to $375 may be charged if the septic tank must be pumped out due to something other than toilet paper being flushed.
• Late checkout - A fee of $15 for every 15 minutes past check-out time will be charged.

Payment Policy
25% of payment is due at time of booking and is non-refundable unless you cancel within 24 hours of making the reservation. If you cancel within 24 hours of making the reservation, the Reservation Deposit will be refunded, minus a 6% payment processing fee.
The remaining 75% is due 10 days prior to the scheduled check-in date. No refunds will be issued once the final payment has been made.
This Security Deposit, if applicable, will be refunded minus a 6% processing fee, after Guest’s departure and an inspection of the Property by Owner, less any deductions for damage to the Property or furnishings, excessive mess requiring additional cleaning or other costs incurred outside the normal course due to Guest’s stay.

Damage Deposit Policy
As a security deposit alternative, Houfy Protect, an upfront nonrefundable low cost property damage protection policy for just $5 per night, is taken at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
A 25% reservation deposit is collected at time of booking and is non-refundable. If you cancel the reservation within 24 hours of making the reservation, the 25% Reservation Deposit will be refunded, minus a 6% payment processing fee.
Notes
We are in the country, outside if city limits. As a result, this is a rural community with a mixture of home styles. While we cannot control the surrounding area or our neighbors, we live next to this home and do our very best to kept it maintained and looking nice so our guest feel at home.
As hosts who live next door we are constantly working to maintain or improve all of our properties. As a result, you may see us cutting grass, spraying for weeds and pest, pressure washing, etc. We try to plan these activities around our guests, but that isn't always possible. If you are in the area for work and work an irregular shift please let us know and we will be extra mindful when possible to ensure you are able to rest during the day.
Cleaning during your stay is available based on availability for a fee.
