House Rules
• The number of guests should be accurate as this determines the total cost and how the home is stocked. Failure to list the correct number of guests may result in a shortage of amenities in which the host cannot be held responsible or reviewed negatively. A fee will be charged per person per night.
• Visitors are not permitted without prior communication and approval of the host.
• Pets are not allowed inside the home. A fee of $350 will be charged if animals are found to have been on the property. Pets, working or sport animals are allowed provides they are housed outside. Guest are required to clean up after their animals.
• Third party booking is not allowed. The person making the reservation must be on the premises for the duration of the reservation.
• Persons not listed as a guest in the reservation may be required to leave the property at the hosts discretion.
• Smoking, vaping, e-cigarettes are not allowed indoors, and windows and doors should be closed when smoking outdoors. A fee of $150 will be charged if the smell of smoke or vapes is detected or damages are incurred due to smoke or vapes.
• Sewer is on a septic tank. Nothing other than toilet paper should be flushed down the toilet. A fee up to $375 may be charged if the septic tank must be pumped out due to something other than toilet paper being flushed.
• Late checkout - A fee of $15 for every 15 minutes past check-out time will be charged.
• ID may be requested by the host upon check-in. Failure to provide ID upon request will result in immediate cancellation and law enforcement will be called to remove those trespassing if needed.
• Guests are required to provide notice of and obtain consent for any secured weapons prior to booking, in addition to following Alabama state gun laws.
• Due to fire hazards wicked candles are not permitted.
• All outdoors fires should be completely put out and should never be left unattended. Any fees incurred for damages will be charged to the guest.

Payment Policy
25% of payment is due at time of booking and is non-refundable unless you cancel within 24 hours of making the reservation. If you cancel within 24 hours of making the reservation, the Reservation Deposit will be refunded, minus a 6% payment processing fee.
The remaining 75% is due 10 days prior to the scheduled check-in date. No refunds will be issued once the final payment has been made.
This Security Deposit, if applicable, will be refunded minus a 6% processing fee, after Guest’s departure and an inspection of the Property by Owner, less any deductions for damage to the Property or furnishings, excessive mess requiring additional cleaning or other costs incurred outside the normal course due to Guest’s stay.

Damage Deposit Policy
As a security deposit alternative, Houfy Protect, an upfront nonrefundable low cost property damage protection policy for just $5 per night, is taken at time of booking.
Cancellation Policy
A 25% reservation deposit is collected at time of booking and is non-refundable. If you cancel the reservation within 24 hours of making the reservation, the 25% Reservation Deposit will be refunded, minus a 6% payment processing fee.
